CRMC Foundation

Cameron Regional Medical Center Foundation

Founded in 1993, the Cameron Regional Medical Center Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation that supports the mission and operations of the Medical Center through its fundraising and public relation efforts. The CRMC Foundation constantly looks for new and innovative ways to support and sustain the Medical Center in improving the health, well-being, and quality of life of its patrons. Through its stewardship, the Foundation serves as a bridge between the health care needs of our region and the resources required to address those needs.

Funds raised by the Foundation are earmarked toward advance-technology medical equipment and progressive health care programs to enhance patient care and support the Medical Center in providing quality services for the residents of rural northwest Missouri. It also financially assists other not-for-profit entities in its service area whenever possible.

The CRMC Foundation raised $15,000 to help purchase a 14-person bus for the Cameron Veterans Home Assistance League.

Foundation Board members work diligently to inform residents throughout rural northwest Missouri of the Foundation and Medical Center’s charitable mission and the continuing need for financial gifts that will facilitate purchase of the most current technology in medical equipment and facilities for the benefit and well-being of CRMC patients.

The Foundation’s Donor Recognition Wall is located in CRMC’s main corridor and is a dynamic graphic system reflecting the Foundation’s continuing efforts and the Medical Center’s sincere appreciation to the countless donors who have contributed so generously to the CRMC Foundation.

Individuals and businesses who become a part of the CRMC Foundation are recognized on the Wall according to the following classifications:

  • Contributing Member Total gifts of $10 – $49;
  • Sustaining Member Total gifts of $50 – $99;
  • Patron Total gifts of $100 – $999; and
  • Grand Patron Total gifts of $1,000 and more.

All gifts are cumulative in nature; i.e., contributions are added together over time, and a member enters a new classification level each time the respective donation range (shown above) is exceeded. Accordingly, recognition on the CRMC Donor Wall is upgraded whenever a member advances in classification level. Once a donor has reached the Grand Patron level of giving ($1,000), there are six different sizes of Corian plaques that are utilized on the Wall as outlined below:

$1,000 – $4,999     4″ x 2″

$5,000 – $9,999     4″ x 4″

$10,000 – $24,999  6″ x 4″

$25,000 – $49,999  6″ x 6″

$50,000 – $99,999  8″ x 6″

$100,000 and up   8″ x 8″

Foundation Efforts

As the fundraising arm of CRMC, the Foundation carries the responsibility for procurement of charitable gifts – essential gifts that can literally give life. These donations are used to purchase the most current technology in medical equipment, develop needed health and wellness programs, fund necessary facility expansions, and advance patient care.

As just a few examples of their efforts, the CRMC Foundation was instrumental in securing funds for constructing and furnishing the new Cameron Regional Medical Center in 2002, installing a new stationary MRI unit in 2004, and constructing a patio for the Inpatient Rehabilitation wing in 2012 – 2013. They have also made substantial donations to the Cameron Veterans’ Home and the Women’s Domestic Abuse Shelter in Cameron.
